Web filtering is now part of our Next Generation Firewall solution. Its comprehensive approach means that the same web filtering policies apply to a user and device whether they are in the office, working from home or in a café using public WiFi. Web filtering is a must have for businesses across all verticals to ensure staff, guests and other users are not able to access or stumble over inappropriate, insecure or malicious content of any kind, to protect users of all age groups, and protect performance and productivity.

The proactive reporting gives insights into user behaviour and bespoke actions can be applied when a trend in behaviour is identified. For example, in a Higher Education environment a proactive action such as notifying a safe guarding officer, can be triggered where a user searches repeatedly on a subject such as suicide. In the same example environment, this web filtering solution can support multiple classes of user i.e. one for students and one for staff, to ensure content and sites that are appropriate to age are available to the right set of people.
