The continued developments in Ukraine are hugely concerning. In the UK we have been warned by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) that the UK is likely to be a target for increased Cyber attacks, and large scale Cyber attacks have already been reported in the technical press against Ukrainian interests.

With this in mind, we are urging all customers to increase vigilance for cyber-attacks against your infrastructure, especially from the Russian Federation Address Space, although it is important to note that we do not expect all attacks to originate solely from this address space.

In addition we would suggest making all your staff aware of the increased cyber security threat levels and ask them to be vigilant of:

  • Phishing emails – do not open unexpected or suspicious emails and do not click on links in suspicious emails.
  • SMS messages – be cautious of messages that look dubious and certainly do not click on links.
  • Malicious websites – websites that masquerade as another business, hover over the URL before clicking links to any websites.

If you require assistance or advice please approach your account manager and they will engage one of our security experts.
